"Echo Valley" lake house details:
2009 is the fourth year we are offering this cottage for seasonal rental. The Echo Valley lake house is
located in Rocky Mount, MO in the "North Shore" area of Lake of the Ozarks. Mile marker 5 in Lick Branch cove.
This cottage is 1,500 square feet and will comfortably handle two average-size families. Pets are welcome. There are
4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a large living room, kitchen and dining area. (Open floor plan.) All you'll need to bring
is beach towels, charcoal and sunscreen. There are 3 TV's, and a DVD player just in case you have a rainy
day. There is also a stereo (IPOD - ready) and CD player for your listening pleasure!
This lake house has
75 feet of shoreline along with a covered dock that has a large 30' boat slip. In addition to these dock amenities,
there is also a swim platform with a ladder so you can enjoy the smooth water. This cottage is located just off a large cove
(Lick Branch cove) but in a smaller cove so you'll get the best of both worlds. A nice view of a large body of water but
the protection of the smaller cove. Parking is on the same level as the first floor of the lake house so there are
no stairs when bringing in the groceries! There is a very large single-tier 500 square foot deck over looking the lake. There are
two large patio tables with plenty of seating. We also offer a Weber charcoal grill.
Echo
Valley lake house is located about 20 minutes from Osage Beach, MO and the Bagnell Dam area. This is the tourist area
with all sorts of things to do. Bumper cars, "Big Surf" water slide park, horse back riding, caves, restaurants
(by boat or car), miniature golf, and plenty of shopping. There is a 110 store outlet mall as well as many other stores from
which to choose. There are 27 golf courses (3 of which are "signature") within 40 minutes of the cottage.
If you do not have a boat there are several places nearby that rent personal watercraft, fishing, pontoon and run-about
type boats. If you like to fish, you will not be disappointed. The lake has a good supply of crappie, catfish, bluegill and
bass among others.
Lake of the Ozarks is a beautiful area especially in the summer time. It is a huge lake with
1,150 miles of shoreline and is 95 miles in length. There are at least 7 restaurants within 10 minutes by boat. We also have
a night time entertainment spot known as The Horney Toad just 5 minutes away by water. They have a band playing every night.
On weekends in the summer they'll often have well known bands. Another recreational activity that is enjoyed by many people
is "Party Cove". Hundreds of boats gather on weekends in the summer in the local state park. You'll enjoy some
beautiful scenery! THIS
LAKE HOUSE WILL NOT BE RENTED TO GROUPS UNDER THE AGE OF 25. (SUCH AS BACHELOR / BACHELORETTE PARTIES, SENIOR TRIPS ETC.)
Please note: In the event of cancellation the half-rent payment(described below) to reserve the cottage for a specific
time period is not refundable unless we are able to rent the cancelled time period to someone else. The second-half rent payment
that is due two weeks prior to the scheduled vacation time period is not refundable. The damage deposit will be returned immediately
upon cancellation.
